I'm Franklin. I'm an easy-going, mellow, eccentric, fellow who was found wandering around in a quiet graveyard in New Mexico. I enjoy my alone time, however I am quite happy to have been rescued and am now living the good life in foster care. I love snuggling up with my people, and sleeping in bed with them is a new luxury. My fosters are treating me like a pet should be treated, giving me baths, trimming my nails, teaching me how to behave and respond to commands, and even offering treats. This is all new territory for me, and I'll admit, I'm not super thrilled with the grooming, but will tolerate it, and I'm a little bit picky about my ... (Read More)treats. I like certain flavours of milk bones (the red ones), and sometimes I insist on wet food only. Occasionally I will enjoy chewing on a bone. What can I say - I have sophisticated taste buds. I love playing with the pack (my foster dog siblings), and tend to be more dominant, but quite often I choose to just wander around in the yard, solo. I am a bit of a thinker and just enjoy some time to chill now and again. I am a huge music fan, and just love to play bow and tap my feet at you. My foster mom plays violin sometimes, and I can't resist joining in on a duet with her - complementing her tune with my soft sweet howl the whole time. I have learned quickly to be obedient, and know the commands Come and Get Down. I've darted out the front door of the house a couple of times, but return immediately when I'm called. I'm presently working on Sit, and Stay. If you'd like to meet me, please fill out the online app today! Adoption fee is $175 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
