Rescue Me ID: 17-07-05-00003Spice (female)

Boston Terrier Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Introducing Spice! She is a Boston Terrier/ Chihuahua Mix puppy who was born on March 22, 2017. She currently weighs about 8.5 lbs and her mom was about 20 lbs. Her and her sister, Sugar, were born with front limb deformities. Spice is a typical puppy- pretty outgoing and friendly. Dog behavior experts do not recommend adopting siblings together so we will be adopting them out separately. We would like to place her in a home with another dog for her to play with, though. She gets around very well, but we are exploring the possibility of prosthetics to help her improve her mobility. We are looking for a family who will patient with her and ... (Read More)work with her mobility challenges. She needs work with housetraining and we will require that her adopter takes her to beginning obedience class. Spice's adoption fee is $300 and covers her microchip and registration, age appropriate vaccinations, spay and fecal check. Applicants must live within 1.5 hour driving distance of Romeoville, IL. Application is required. Vet checks, reference checks, and home visit required. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab.
