Boston Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive

Sheldon found himself in a bad spot on the streets of Texas. Something happened to him while on the streets, because when he was brought to the shelter, his leg was in very bad shape and had to be amputated. He was also extremely skinny and malnourished. But, we brought him into our rescue and everything is better for him now. His amputation is all healed and he can keep up with all the big guys (and girls). He has gained some much needed weight and he is now in search of his forever home. This 10 month old pup is all of about 20 lbs, is crate trained and loves to cuddle with you on the couch or snuggle with you in bed. :-) Sheldon has been ... (Read More)neutered, is up to date on shots and heartworm pills and is mircochipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. Contact us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com to find out more about Sheldon! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-15-00605Prudence (female)

Boston Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Prudence came to me as a foster 3 years ago. She had been abused. She is well behaved. Loves car rides, fetch and tug. She can not be crated due to her anxiety. She does not like being alone for long periods. Don't get me wrong there is never a potty mess. I have been working with her and she has learned to be left at home for long periods and she is OK with it. No messes and nothing destroyed. She is good off leash for me, always comes when called. This breaks my heart but life has dealt me a rough hand and it is not fair to her if there is a person/family that would give her love and attention. She does not do well with cats.

Kansas is a young boxer mix. She loves people and gets along with other submissive dogs. She came to us from a shelter. She had no fur because of how bad her mange was. Kanas' recovery was truly amazing, she has a silky black and white coat now. Kansas is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands! She loves to snuggle and sleep in bed with you at night. She would make a wonderful addition to any family. If you think you can open your heart and home to this loving girl, please fill out an application form at www.dawghous.com Thank you!!
