Our Timmy may only have 3 legs but you'd never know it by his enthusiasm for life and his happy disposition. He is a delight!! He loves everybody and shows you how happy he is by doing constant belly-up's. He is all love. Gentle with treats, shares his toys, and gives back the raw hide when asked, great manners by his food bowl. He is the sweetest little guy.

|Rescue Me ID: 13-12-30-00220Whiskey (male)|
Whiskey is a handsome 1-year old pit bull mix puppy who has had everything short of a normal puppyhood so far! This wiggle butt, constant tail-wagger was found roaming on the streets in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, he had been hit by a car and was in severe need of emergency medical care. Whiskey's entire body was covered in asphalt burns and open wounds. His front leg was just dangling and he was unable to put any weight on it. He was just about to be euthanized due to his injuries before one of our volunteers met him and offered to take him into our care. Despite the pain he was in, Whiskey would not stop kissing all of our volunteers and vet staff. He was brought straight to our veterinary office to get the care he so desperately needed. By some miracle, there were no breaks to any of the bones in his front leg, just severe damage to one of his ligaments. It was torn out of place and needed to be reconstructed. Whiskey had his surgery and has been released from the veterinary office and is living in a foster home with other dogs. He enjoying playing with his foster brothers and really loves to sit in any lap for kisses and petting. Whiskey has about 80% mobility with his leg, but that doesn't hold him back from rough-housing with the best of them!! He is a super sweet puppy, kissing everyone he meets and constantly wiggling for more affection. He does well with other dogs and seems to be good with cats too, just excited like a normal pup. Whiskey is crate trained, house trained and is ready and waiting for his forever family, so if you're looking for a special pup, he's your man! (Less)
