Rescue Me ID: 14-03-20-00142Fruity (female)
Not sure why the ACOs named this girl fruity. Maybe because she is so sweet. Maybe because her brindle coat has orange and reddish in it. Maybe because they ran out of names. Who knows. But this fun-loving, compact girl with the blocky Boston Terrier ala Boxer head just wants to have fun. She will create her own toys, make up her own games and be thrilled if you join in. She will be a fun addition to any family. She has been given Parvo/distemper, rabies and Bordatella vaccinations, as well as de-wormed. Rescues with their 501c3 pull for $5. The $71 adoption fee includes a voucher for neuter/spay and first set of vaccinations, which is MUCH less expensive than if you just took a dog to the vet without this voucher. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-03-00464Buster (male)
Buster is a very laid back boy. He is the victim of the family home being lost to foreclosure. He will begin his treatment for heartworms soon. If an owner is willing to comply with giving Buster his treatment for heart worms, he could be adopted sooner than later. This treatment will be discussed in detail upon adoption. All medicines would be provided by the rescue for the heart worms. Please consider this deserving boy for your forever companion.

Rescue Me ID: 14-02-03-00543Roscoe (male)
ROSCOE is a very cute 7-8 month old black and white pup whose breed is a bit of a gray area. He is possibly a mix of Boston terrier, wire-haired terrier and/or border collie. He weighs 28 pounds and is current on shots and neutered. He is very friendly. He will crate with no problem and will sleep through the night in his crate. He has had no accidents and goes out for potty breaks. He does fair on a leash. He loves playing with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Roscoe if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help to cover the cost of the veterinary care he has received. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 13-07-01-00019Lucy (female)
Meet sweet and loveable Miss Lucy. She was a stray that a couple kept until her pups were weaned. Lucy appears to be a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix. She is on the small/medium side weighing between 35-40 lbs. We gave her the birthday of 2/14/12. Lucy was a very good mommy to her pups. She is such a gentle girl. Now it is time for her to find a forever home full of love. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained. Lucy gets along great with other dogs. She enjoys swimming and lots of petting. Lucy is ready for her forever family who will give her belly rubs.

Boston Terriers are gentle and sensitive but can be very playful and rambunctious. Boston Terriers are easy to train since they like to learn and want to please their masters; however, they can be difficult to housebreak. Boston Terriers are exceptionally good with children and the elderly. Boston Terriers do not bark without good reason. Boston Terriers can live in an apartment or in the country, but they are sensitive to extremely hot or cold weather.
