|Rescue Me ID: 15-09-13-00399Journey (female)|
Journey was saved from the streets just in time for her to have her 5 beautiful babies. She was known by local residents and they would feed her. One day animal control came along and were trying to catch Journey in a live crate. She is one smart cookie and never went near it. In fact one of the ladies that had been feeding her was able to get her to come into her place of work which is how she was saved. The lady was not able to keep her and asked for a rescue to help her. We stepped up to help her and it was a few days after that she gave birth to her 5 girls. They have all now been adopted and Journey is now looking for her special home. She is one special girl who loves her foster family very much. Once she knows you she is the most loving, loyal dog you will find. She is about 18 months old, fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention. She is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix and around 35lbs. It did not take her long to trust her foster mum. Please consider giving this gentle soul a loving home and never to be on the streets again. She needs a home with a fenced yard. (Less)

|Animal ID: D150116River (male)|
Are you an active person looking for a dog to take running, hiking, biking, or train for agility? If you are, then you need to check out River! River is a playful, fun loving Boxer mix who is always ready to go. He is highly food and toy motivated, and loves to have a job to do. River has graduated from basic obedience class and knows the commands 'place', 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'wait', 'leave it', 'front', and 'shake'. He is house trained, crate trained, knows his table manners and is a baby-gate hurdle champion. He loves car rides, sleeping on the bed (when he's allowed), working on his training and playing with his doggie friends. A household with older children would be a good fit, as he is very active and excites easily. He would be best in a home with no cats, as he thinks it's great fun to chase them. River would be great for with someone who is experienced in dog training, he does well with consistency and loves to learn. River weighs around 50 pounds and comes already neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is heartworm negative and on preventives for parasites. Still need a reason to make this boy your best buddy? Just look at that goofy smile and his adoring eyes! River would love to see his doggie school diploma hanging on your wall! This dog is located and fostered in Tennessee. FREE ADOPTION TO APPROVED HOME! (Less)

Boston Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. Boston Terriers, or Boston Bulls, are small, intelligent dogs. Boston Terriers are gentle and sensitive but can be very playful and rambunctious. Boston Terriers are easy to train since they like to learn and want to please their masters; however, they can be difficult to housebreak. Boston Terriers are exceptionally good with children and the elderly. Boston Terriers do not bark without good reason. Boston Terriers can live in an apartment or in the country, but they are sensitive to extremely hot or cold weather.
