Bella and Zoe are sisters and have lived together for their entire lives so we are searching for an adopter willing to adopt them together. They are estimated to be six years old. Zoe is potty trained and gets along with some dogs. Her sister does not get along with cats so they will need to be adopted out to a cat-free home. Zoe is the more calm and affectionate of the two sisters. She is deaf however it doesn't seem to hinder her.

Well Hello, Dolly! Our Dolly is a dog to die for. She is mostly blind, but seems to learn her way and get along just fine. Dolly is a kind, loving soul who needs someone who is willing to care for her and love her as we do. You see, Dolly is diabetic. It's really not a big deal to give her twice day injections. Otherwise, she is in good health and looking for a family. Dolly was severely emaciated when she was found, but with good medical care, and the care of her foster mom, Dolly put on weight and is now waiting to find the family she has always deserved.

Animal ID: Chester2016Chester (male)

Boston Terrier    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Chester came to ODBTR as a severely emaciated stray. He had a severe corneal ulcer that has now healed but with a scar. He has progressed beautifully from being unable to walk to playing fetch with his favorite toys. Chester has some mobility issues as it is believed he has a spinal cord injury. He can walk and 'bunny hop run' but knuckles a lot on one back leg and cannot sit or climb stairs. Chester wears socks with rubber soles all the time. With his lack of sensation and control, it is extremely hard for him to walk on smooth surfaces like hardwood or tile. They give him traction. He went to rehab for 14 sessions (water threadmill and ... (Read More)other exercises) to see if he could rebuild some muscle. He made as much progress as possible. Chester LOVES to chew, play fetch and tug. He knows the command 'drop' so you can throw it again (and again!). He's also learning the command 'enough' to signal fetch time is over. He is a very mellow fellow who spends his days napping under his foster mom's desk and evenings in front of the tv chewing on his toys and/or fetching. Chester has some incontinence issues due to his injury but they are manageable. Chester would do well with just about any family. He would love to have a human who will play with him. Chester has been neutered and is utd on all his shots. (Less)
