Please email odbtr1@gmail.com to ask further questions. Please apply on our website before writing for more information. Oscar is available if his listing is here. Oscar is an approximately 6 year old Boston Terrier with lots of impish attitude. Completely housetrained trained, knows how to use a dog door and can entertain himself for hours. Get along great with other dogs. LOVES LOVES LOVES balls of any size. He pushes big balls around the yard (see his video) . He would like all squirrels and birds banned from the yard and would climb the trees after them if he could. He is not a destructive chewer so his toys and tennis balls are all ... (Read More)intact. He does loves to snuggle next to you and follow you around. He will whine a little when you leave but will be super excited when you return. A great 'Welcome Home' will be waiting for you each and every time. UTD on all shots and neutered, he is ready to meet his new family. Oscar is good with dog savvy children. He was poked and hit by children in the past. He's still good with them but they need to be loving children. Oscar must have a fence, he needs to run and play outside to be happy. (Less)

Please visit our website and submit a free application and we will contact you. Our dogs are fostered all over VA, MD and DE so you won't reach the foster if you use the sites contact option. I can answer some questions and you can email me at odbtr1@gmail.com but other than our process I can't do much without an application. Once we have an app we'll put you in touch with Macy's foster mom but not until we know a bit about you. We won't share your information unless you ask us too. _____________________________________________ Macy is a very sweet high energy medium sized female Boston Terrier. It's possible she's a mix but my personal and ... (Read More)educated opinion is that she is 100% Boston she's a bigger girl than most in weight but not really in size. I believe she's what is known as an 'Old Boston Bulldog' She's truer in size to what the breed was like 100 years ago. Macy needs fenced in yard and homes without one will not be considered. This is not true of all of our dogs but Macy loves to run and needs more freedom than a trip to the dog park would provide. Macy does well with some other dogs but not most. She is very excitable and will chase them if they run. She will do best in as an only dog. She has the bad habit of jumping on her people to greet them and could be too much dog in the wrong home. This is something most Boston's do and the behavior can be modified with training. Once she has gotten over her initial excitement, she is the best dog in the world. She craves affection and gives lots of kisses. She follows her people like a shadow around the house and is very social. She enjoys her walks but pulls hard on the leash. She is house trained, and not destructive although she will pull the stuffing out of a soft toy. She is a good little watch dog and takes her job seriously. Older kids in their teens/tweens would do well with her, she is too strong for little ones. Macy's ideal home would have the best dog if they are willing to have patience and invest the time to help her with her manners (primarily jumping and pulling on the leash, she is doing much better), give her regular walks and stimulation and lots of love and affection! Macey is about 2 1/2 years old we are not positive she may be a few months more but is as likely to be a few months less. We know she's barely an adult and our vets agree. Rescue Me ID: 18-04-10-00126Bruno (male)

Boston Terrier    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

Please visit our website and submit an application prior to emailing for information. www.odbtr.org. I won't respond to inquiries unless we have an application on file. I'm sorry but we don't have time to reply to 'is the dog available' If the dog is posted they are available. Thank you. Bruno is a very sweet and loving 22 /23 pound boy. He's 6 1/2 to 7 years old. Bruno loves people and most other dogs and dog friendly cats. He will chase them but is not aggressive. He does not like big dogs, meaning a lot bigger than Bruno. He's darling with dogs his size and smaller. Bruno would thrive in a house with a fenced in yard, but does well ... (Read More)without one. Without a fence Bruno needs to be on leash to go outside as he loves to run around and explore. Bruno loves affection and attention and gives lots of kisses. He loves sitting in your lap, or next to you while you watch TV, but also enjoys playing in his dog bed or with his toys. He enjoys daily walks. Bruno is house trained, but will have accidents if left alone for extended periods of time outside of a crate. He does well in crate, and actually goes in there on his own at times just to relax. Bruno loves sleeping in bed with his human and will burrow under the covers next to you; he also has slept well in his crate before. Bruno loves car rides and does extremely well traveling. His Kong toy and his dog bed is his favorite. He 'sucks' on the edges of his bed and sometimes falls asleep halfway standing up while doing so. He is a great little watchdog, but isn't a constant barker. He will bark if someone is at the door or if he thinks his person is being threatened. Bruno was a breeder before coming to us and was just livestock. He went his entire life with a deformed eye and lived outside. We had his eye removed when he was neutered and microchipped. He's a healthy boy who needs attention to his ears. They need to be cleaned at least once a month. We'll never know how they were broken but because of it he's susceptible to ear infections. This can be avoided with monthly cleaning. It's pretty easy, just a good cleaner that is self drying. It's available at any vet and most pet supply stores or websites. Just squirt in in and he'll shake it out what's left dries to a powder. We recommend all Boston's have their ears cleaned at least monthly. Bruno is a fantastic little guy he's just missing the right person or family. (Less)

All of our treated dogs have come back negative after fast kill treatment. She needs to be scheduled for spay as soon as I get approval from her vet.
