He was found by her 16 year old daughter who insisted mom take on a new baby after their loss of their older Boston. He has the sweetest smile and has absolutely won them over.

     We recently adopted Remi - a Boston Terrier/ French Bulldog mix. She is absolutely the sweetest thing! She is a wonderful addition to our family. She and Missy (our Jack Russell rescue - also from Rescue Me) get along really well. Our kids are so happy to have these sweet babies to love and care for. I recommend Rescue Me to everyone I know! We've never bought pet store dogs, and never will. Adopt! Don't shop!

     Thank you so much, Rescue Me! Our foster, Chester, came into our rescue a little more than half dead. He'd been starved or on the road a long time. I doubt it was that he was truly a stray since he could barely walk due to over kenneling in a small crate or being hit by a car and not treated. Again, we can't be sure, but it could be both. After 10 months of rehab, good food, acupuncture, aqua therapy and more, we posted Chester here. It took awhile, but 14 months after coming into our care Chester found the perfect home. It wasn't easy for his people find us. Without Rescue Me, we may never have found Chester's home. He'll always need his boots on his back feet to walk and he'll probably always need a diaper indoors. These things added to our normal search for people for our Boston's. Thank you for your invaluable assistance!      Thank you, Rescue Me. I recently added the sweetest little girl to my family. Missy is an older girl, having been born in 2002, but she has fit right into our family routine. Her eyesight is waning, but we have learned to clap our hands to let her know when she is getting close to the stairs, other than that she just follows me from room to room and wherever I am sitting she is next to me. My last Boston Terrier, Max, died last year after being the best little boy he could be for 14 years. I hope our Missy will have the best of her years with us as well. Thanks to Brooke, for allowing us to adopt her, she will get the best of our love until she leaves this earth, and meets up with Max. I truly believe all dogs go to heaven.

     I put my Boston Terrier, Ozzy, on Rescue Me and I received many inquiries about him. He was my baby (I picked him out of his litter) and I only wanted to re home him to the perfect family. Inquiries came from all over, not just my state. A family was very interested in him and after speaking to them over the phone and talking about him and what they were looking for, they wanted to adopt him! They live about seven hours away so I was concerned they wouldn't want to drive that far; however, we set up a time and they left in the middle of the night and met me in the morning! When I met them, I knew they would love him and give a home that I would feel great about! We became friends on a social media site and I can watch him grow up over the web and keep in contact which I am very happy about! This site is wonderful and I would recommend to anyone looking to rehome their animal or someone who is looking to rescue a pet! I am very happy about this situation and so glad I found this site!      Otis has a new home as an only pet with a wonderful couple who can include him in all their activities. I received several inquiries within 48 hours of posting him. Otis is a wonderful boy, but the other dogs in my family didn't like him. He needed a home without other animals who might pick on him. All of the people who contacted me seemed very nice and anxious to have him, but two stood out. I checked both out with their vets and learned that either were responsible and loving pet owners; however, the couple he went to could give him more attention. They drove three hours each way to come and meet Otis at his home, get acquainted, and make friends with him before they invited him to go in the car with them. He fell in love with them immediately. I felt very comfortable that they would give him a good home. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping Otis succeed.

     Bugs was a boston terrier/ pit mix who was super sweet but hated other dogs. We had to keep her up front and away from the back kennels. The people who really liked her always had another dog, and there was no way we could even try a meet and greet because Bugs would freak out so bad. A family finally came in that had a fenced in yard and no other animals, and they fell in love with Bugs. They got us all the information we needed and filled out an adoption form and were able to adopt Bugs. They said she is doing well and they love her so much!!!

     We were able to find Doctor Watson a wonderful home with loving parents. It seems he already has a play date and will be having coffee at the coffee shop with his new human dad on some days. His new mom is very loving and he will not want for hugs and snuggles. ...we are so grateful to have found the right home for him. He is such a sweet loving pup and will also be doing some volunteer work at the hospital and he has so much love to give everyone and he will be amazing doing that volunteer work. He is already learning some new things on the leash he did not know like going potty outside on a leash. He also has a lot of neighbor doggies to play with. Had we not had Rescue Me! we would not have been able to place him in the right home. Finding the right family was crucial! He is also a kitty doggie he loves cats so we found out his family will be bringing in a new kitty and Watson will be so pleased. Thank you to his new family and to Rescue Me!

     Tuey's life started out rough. She was already about a year old when my Dad found her in the streets... When he brought her to me, I was shocked she was still able to wag her tail. She was so emaciated you could count every rib and backbone. Her fur was very thin, and her skin was red and inflamed. I took her inside to give her a bath with cool water... She enjoyed the relief of the bath so much she almost fell asleep in the tub. We took her to the vet the next day to see what needed to be treated. She had mange along with bacterial, yeast, and fungal infections in her skin. She only weighed 23 pounds. She was heartworm negative by the grace of God. We spent the first two months just trying to clear up the skin issues, and put some weight on her. Shortly after everything cleared up, we were able to let her out and play with the other dogs boarding. We quickly noticed she was very sweet and playful with any dog she met. Finally she was ready for a home and we posted her info for adoption on Rescue Me!, as well as a few other rescue sites... I got a response through Rescue Me! from a lady inquiring about Tuey. Everything sounded great over the phone; she had a toddler and a lab for her to play with. I decided to make the 2-hour drive with Tuey to see how they got along. It was like a match made in heaven. She immediately started to play with the other dog and kid. I liked the family, home, and yard as well as the neighborhood. So I decided to let her stay with them and since then, after befriending the new owner of Facebook, I've been seeing new posts and pics of her enjoying her new life with her new forever family. Thank you, Rescue Me!

     Remi was a family dog from six weeks old. When my daughter could no longer care for him because of allergies, we set out to find him a home. Over many months, we interviewed many prospective parents, but the fit just didn't seem right. Then we got a message from a family only two miles away with a little girl Boston and two four year old twin girls with as much energy as our little Remi. He was so happy about his new girlfriend, he didn't even care to be leaving. It was a perfect match.

     Hi Jeff, Tater Tot was adopted by a wonderful couple about a month ago that contacted me through your site. As tough as it was to let go of my little boy, I knew he needed someone that could give him more time and special care. He is thriving and I know he is in the right loving hands. His new parents send me photos and I went by their home to see him last week... he remembers me, but knows who his new mom is and is learning more and more how to be a good disciplined boy. I was lucky to find someone only 10 miles from my home. We are planning a play date soon so Tater Tot and my other dogs can get together and have some fun!      Thanks for asking about Rex. He is a very high energy dog that loves children and 'his' people. He is extremely territorial and did not fit with other dogs. We have a large Border collie our daughter is caring for for us but, Rex would have nothing to do with him or any other dog or cat. He is King. The family that adopted him had a mom that worked at home and the cutest 3 year old. Rex fell in love with the child took his toy, his blankie, kissed us goodbye and left. I will send donation later.
